Attending the APQN Annual Academic Conference 2025
Staff members of JUAA attended the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) Annual Conference 2025, held from 20 to 23 November in Hong Kong under the theme “Embracing Industrial Collaboration for Quality Higher Education.” The conference provided a platform for quality assurance agencies, higher education institutions, and other organizations to discuss recent developments, innovative practices, and collaborative approaches aimed at enhancing the quality of higher education.
Ms. Kato, Assistant Director of the Research & Planning Division, delivered a presentation titled “Industry-led Rulemaking for Internships in Japan.” She introduced recent developments in industry-driven rulemaking for Japan’s internship system, as well as related quality assurance challenges and future prospects. The session also facilitated active discussion among participants from various economies, providing a valuable opportunity for sharing practices and exploring further collaboration.
